WHAT IS GLOBAL WARMING?
During the 20th century, Earth's temperature increased by 0.6 degrees C, which might be the largest increase in the past 1000 years. Scientists predict that in the 21st century, Earth's temperature will increase even more. The majority of climatologists think that human-produced air pollutants caused most of this warming.
