OTHER MEMBRANE-BOUND ORGANELLES
Aside from the ER and the Golgi complex, membrane-bound organelles found in eukaryotes include:

Vacuoles are membranous sacs used for storage of water and other materials.

Peroxisomes carry out various chemical reactions in a cell's metabolism. Enzymes, which are proteins, are needed for this.

Mitochondria have two layers of membranes. These membranes contain the enzymes needed for aerobic cell respiration. Cell respiration provides the energy needed to carry out cell functions by breaking down glucose to form ATP from ADP.

Plastids, including chloroplasts, also have two layers of membranes, as well as a system of internal membranes called thylakoids, which contain pigments used for capturing light. The captured light is used to carry out photosynthesis, which produces glucose.
